Community Outreach
River City Knitters is committed to helping our community through knit wear and other donated items.
In partnership with other community agencies such as From the Heart, Feed More, local hospitals, schools and other agencies, River City Knitters help fill needs of community members.
Hand knitted items are the primary way River City Knitters contribute to the well-being of our local citizens. In addition, through food drives and donations to the local food bank, knitters share their care and concern for the well-being of our community members.

February 14, 2026 - Community Outreach program, led by Board member Debbie Mangolas. Knitters donated $875 to Feed More to help address food insecurity in the Greater Richmond area. Members continue to knit and donate warm items for our community.
